Weather
The climate of Uzbekistan is sharp continental. Summers are dry and hot, whilst winters are cold. The best time to come to Uzbekistan is from April to mid-June in spring/early-summer and from September to October in autumn. November can be mild too. July and August are the hottest months of the year with temperatures reaching (and exceeding) 40 degrees C. December and January are cold and occasionally rainy. It usually snows in February. March is also unpredictable with sudden spells of frost and waves of warmth. For the current temperature in Samarkand, see the table below.
